So I played the first round against Omneya and lost 3/1. Had the worst start imaginable. I think, being the first Wispa tournament Ive played in a long time, it took me 2 games to actually get in a mode where I was thinking straight. Like, I tried to make it more complex than it actually was. In the 3rd game, I just kept it really simple and had 2 thoughts going through my head, in keeping the ball straight and looking for the opportunity to play a straight drop and won it 11/1. In the 4th I was up 5/0, but then got tired, so was forced to just lift it straight down the wall so I could catch my breath back so I could lift again. She took advantage of it, and moved me around. I thought, if I could get a few more points after 5/0, she would give up on the game, but I was rooted at that point. So its back to training to try to get fit again, I guess.
